Canon House purchased the premises unconditionally for re-development. The property was acquired from West Herts College following a best bid process. Planning was obtained for a change of use of the ground floor to retail and the conversion of the upper parts into apartments. The property was redeveloped to provide a retail unit on the ground floor and the three apartments above, comrising of one one-bedroom flat and two two-bedrooms flats. Retail unit let to Done Brothers (trading as Betfred) on a lease expiring in 2021. All flats sold on long leases and the freehold investment sold.
